These are yummy, moist flapjacks that are really quick to
make.
Ingredients
4 oz butter
4 oz brown soft sugar
1 tbsp golden syrup
5 oz rolled oats
2 oz pistachio nuts, roughly chopped
4 ½ oz dried apricots, finely chopped
Method
- Lightly grease an 8” square baking tin and preheat the oven to 150°C.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter, sugar and golden syrup together.
- Stir in the oats, pistachio nuts and apricots.
- Spread the mixture into the baking tin and bake for about 45 minutes, until golden brown. Cool for about 10 minutes before scoring into 16 squares.
